Wow! It’s a heat wave this week. Make sure you hydrate and stay in air conditioning if possible. When drinking, try to avoid sugary drinks. The more often you sip on a sugary drink, the more chance you have of getting cavities.

Hi everyone. Well, spring is supposed to be here, but it is still freezing outside! We have had a few nice days that made me enjoy being outside so much more than these cold, dreary days.

Speaking of Spring, it is a time of renewal, a good time to think about improving your Smile so when Summer comes you can flash your pearly whites at the beach or anytime, especially with a nice tan. If you don’t need a better smile, maybe your old fillings need to be replaced before they break and cause a tooth ache. There is nothing worse than a tooth ache, and they always come at a bad time.

It’s Summer time so I hope all of you are enjoying it. We don’t have a whole  lot of good days, so if you happen to have a day off and it’s nice out, take advantage of it. It’s important to take some time for yourself and just enjoy the moment. If I can, on a nice day I like to go for a bike ride or a swim at the local pool. What do you like to do?

It’s a new year and very cold! What do you expect, it’s Michigan. We were very busy in December helping our patients get their needed care before their benefits expired, or just taking care of emergencies and needs. Thank all of you for coming in to see me this year, let’s hope that 2010 is better for all of us!
