Sedation Dentistry

We offer Nitrous Oxide (Relaxing Gas) to patients who prefer some reduced stress and anxiety during routine procedures.

Pill Sedation (Sleep Dentistry) can also be used for any patient who desires to be totally anxiety-free during dental treatment. We also use it for a patient who has a long visit scheduled and would rather sleep through it than just be numb.

Complex treatments can be done in as little as one or two appointments, all while you relax. People who have difficulty getting numb will find that this eliminates the problem. Sedation Dentistry is a safe way to reduce the fatigue of extended dental treatment requiring long visits.

Normally you take a small relaxing pill an hour before your appointment. This pill will start to relax you and takes away anxiety. When you arrive, we will administer stronger pills to sedate you more. We will place a monitor to watch your vital signs and cover you with a blanket. You may want to listen to music on headphones.

During your visit you will be very comfortable while we take care of your dental needs. You will have little or no memory of the experience; you won't remember any sounds or smells. When your treatment is completed, your companion will return you home to finish your comfortable, relaxing day.
